Disability Services
To begin your Disability Tax Credit application, you must authorize True North Disability Services through your “CRA My Account”.
This Allows Us To:
- Complete a 10 year tax assessment to ensure you have had sufficient income to claim the credit.
- Communicate with the Canada Revenue Agency on your behalf.
- Submit your application.
- Make the necessary T1 adjustments once approved to factor in the Disability Tax Credit.
- Ensure your claim is processed correctly.

Choose your preferred sign-in method:
Sign-In Partner Use your online banking credentials.
CRA Sign-In Use your CRA user ID and password.
Provincial Partner Use your MyAlberta Digital ID or BC Services Card.
Step
Once logged in, select “Profile” from the top navigation menu.
Step
Scroll down to the “Authorized representatives” section and click “+ Add”.
Step
Click on the “Start” button under “Authorize a representative”.
Step
Enter our Business Number (BN): 830781381 Then click “Search”.
Step
Confirm that True North Disability Services Ltd. appears, then click “Next”.
Step
Set the following:
- Authorization Level: Level 2
- Online Access: Yes
- Expiry Date: Check off "Does not expire". * Claim processing times can significantly vary depending on the CRA’s workload.
Step
Review the information, check the confirmation box, and click “Submit”.
Step
A confirmation screen will appear indicating that the authorization was successful. Please be sure to let us know once this step has been completed so we can proceed with your claim!
